Since 1994, our voluntary organisation has been involved in solidarity and humanitarian aid projects aimed at the peoples of the former Yugoslavia affected by the conflict, operating with complete impartiality and without any distinction based on nationality.

The Main Project: “Biće Bolje” (It Will Be Better)

At the heart of our work is the “Biće Bolje” project, which provides practical help to the families of children from the former Yugoslavia who are suffering from serious illnesses and are being treated in Italian hospitals. We provide these families with comprehensive support through:
  • 🏠 Reception and Accommodation: We find and provide safe accommodation for the entire duration of treatment in Italy.
  • 💶 Financial Support: We cover the out-of-pocket expenses to ease the financial burden on families during the period of treatment.
  • 🗣️ Cultural Mediation: We offer language and intercultural support to facilitate communication with doctors and institutions.
  • 🚗 Logistics and Transport: We organise the necessary transport within the area to reach healthcare centres.
  • 🎨 Activities for Young Children: We organise workshops, games and activities based on the children’s interests to give them moments of peace and contentment.
